Hip pain

The hips form the connection between the thighs and the pelvis with a ball and socket joint. It is formed by a bowl and a spherical head. Because of their central location, complaints of the hip take many forms.

At Evolution Physiotherapy, we look beyond your hip pain. In fact, these complaints are often not isolated and stem from posture, exercise, lifestyle, diet and more. We are happy to tell you about our handling of these complaints.

    How does hip pain occur?

Hip pain can occur in a variety of ways, such as an acute movement like a fall, which damages muscles, tendons and bones. Hip pain can also develop due to poor posture, poor stabilizing ability, muscle weakness and is often affected by stress.

Wherever the origin of the complaint lies, in many cases the symptoms persist for an extended period of time and treatment and self-care are needed to reduce and keep the symptoms away.
