Shoulder Pain

The shoulder is a complex joint involved in many movements. Shoulder pain therefore has many different causes. Sometimes the pain is present only with movement and sometimes it is continuous. It can also radiate to the arm, wrist or hand.

At Evolution Physical Therapy, we look beyond your shoulder problems. In fact, these complaints are often not isolated and stem from posture, exercise, lifestyle, diet and more. We are happy to tell you about our handling of these complaints.

    How do shoulder problems occur?

Shoulder pain can occur in a variety of ways, such as from an acute movement like a fall, which damages muscles, tendons and bones. Shoulder problems can also develop due to poor posture, poor stabilizing ability, muscle weakness and are often affected by stress.

Wherever the origin of the complaint lies, in many cases the symptoms persist for an extended period of time and treatment and self-care are needed to reduce and keep the symptoms away.
