Pelvic Pain
The pelvis has a central role in posture and movement. The pelvis carries the upper body and protects the organs in the pelvic cavity. Both men and women can have pain in the groin, low back or abdomen.
At Evolution Physiotherapy, we look beyond your pelvic pain. In fact, these complaints are often not isolated and stem from posture, exercise, lifestyle, diet and more. We are happy to tell you about our handling of these complaints.

How do pelvic pain occur?
Pelvic pain can occur in a variety of ways. For example, pelvic and pelvic floor symptoms can result from altered strain on muscles and ligaments. Pregnancy and childbirth are examples. But complaints after surgery, problems with defecation or sexuality can also arise in the pelvis.
Wherever the origin of the complaint lies, in many cases the symptoms persist for an extended period of time and treatment and self-care are needed to reduce and keep the symptoms away.
